Parish Life Ministries
Hospitality
Welcome Ministry: If you would like to help welcome new parishioners to our faith community.
Martha & Mary Bereavement Ministry: The vision of this group is to provide for families and their relatives a place to gather and eat after a funeral. The goal is to have volunteers so that the preparation of food (set menu) for each funeral is handled by different teams of volunteers.
Little Flower Ministry: St. Therese of Liseux "Little Flower Ministry" is looking for disciples to maintain the church flowers--watering, weeding, and discarding flowers on the altar, in front of the Blessed Mother statue and in the columbarium. Disciples would also assist the church office with Christmas and Easter flowers. Contact Renee Parker, [email protected]
Outreach
Ministry of Help to the sick and Homebound: Volunteers bring Holy Communion to the sick of the parish and visit those members unable to get to Mass. Please call the church office if you would like to help with this ministry.
Respect Life Ministry: This beautiful ministry covers the following areas: education, pastoral care, public policy, prayer and worship, Embrace Grace and March for Life. Please contact Joan Mansfield at [email protected].
St. Peter Meals: Bringing a meal to someone who is recovering allows you to practice three corporal works of mercy at once. If you or someone you know in our parish is in recovery and could benefit from having meals brought to them in a time of need (new parents, recovering from injury or illness or grieving), please send an email to Marcy Regan, [email protected]. If you would like to be on our email list to be part of of this fulfilling ministry, please email the same.
St. Vincent de Paul Society: This organization is a spiritually motivated group who try to help those who come to our parish seeking material assistance. Members meet every other Tuesday to give out food and clothing. Please contact Tony Rogers, 252-756-8942.
Vagabond Mission - Greenville: This is an urban outreach ministry dedicated to bringing Christ to inner city youth and transforming their lives by introducing Jesus to them.
